Hamsa
The Hamsa or the hamsa (Arabic: خمسة, literally "five") is belief to be a protective amulet in a shape of a hand which enjoy popularity in the Middle East and North Africa, but is found increasingly in Western Europe. The Hamsa refers to Muhammad's daughter, Fatima Zahra. Some Christians call the amulet Hand of Mary. In the Jewish tradition it is called the Hand of Miriam.
